NurseBound — Terms of Use
Last updated: October 11, 2026.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the NurseBound mobile app ("the app"), published by Alex Korir ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What NurseBound is
NurseBound is an independent study and planning app for internationally educated nurses. It offers NCLEX-RN practice questions, case studies, English test preparation, licensing roadmaps, visa and migration information, and career tools.
2. Educational use only
- The app is for education and general information only. It is not medical, legal, immigration, tax or financial advice.
- Clinical content is for exam practice. Always follow your facility's policies, your scope of practice and qualified professional guidance when caring for patients.
- Licensing, visa, fee and exam rules change. Always confirm with the official regulator, government agency or exam provider before you act. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information in the app.
- Using the app does not guarantee that you will pass any exam or be granted any license, registration or visa.
3. No affiliation
NurseBound is not sponsored by, endorsed by or affiliated with the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), Pearson VUE, OET, IELTS, any nursing regulator or any government agency. NCLEX®, NCLEX-RN®, OET® and IELTS® are registered trademarks of their owners.
4. Your license to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or its content, including its questions, rationales and case studies.
5. NurseBound Pro (paid features)
- Some features require NurseBound Pro, sold as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) or as a one-time all-access pass. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Purchases are made through Google Play (on Android) or the App Store (on iPhone) and are subject to that store's terms. The store processes your payment; we never see your card or bank details.
- Free trials: where offered, a free trial is available to new subscribers only. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged automatically.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel anytime: on Android, open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NurseBound. On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NurseBound. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies.
- Restore purchases: use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Google or Apple account you bought with.
6. Your data
Your progress is stored only on your device; there is no account. See our Privacy Policy: https://nursebound.app/privacy/
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the app in any way that breaks the law, infringes anyone's rights, or interferes with the app or the stores that distribute it.
8. Changes to the app and these Terms
We may update, add or remove features and content at any time. We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new Terms.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
